Overall Definition of Done
A title search is complete when:
- All required data sources have been searched.
- Property identity is confirmed.
- Chain of title is complete.
- Active encumbrances are identified.
- Risks are resolved or documented.
- AI findings are reviewed where required.
- Title commitment/report is approved by the examiner.
The output is evidence plus a draft opinion. The final legal opinion remains a human responsibility.
